Hello, and welcome to the MMA Intersection!

My name is John Merrill, and I live in beautiful Shibata, Japan.  I've been an enormous fan of various forms of MMA for about seven years now - especially a fan of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. 

However, in recent years I have discovered a new love - the PRIDE FC here in Japan.  For those of you who know anything about PRIDE or the UFC, they're both top-notch MMA competitions, which have done wonders for putting MMA on the map.  Currently, I am serving as the Japan Correspondent for InsideFighting.com, and one of my duties is attending and covering PRIDE FC.  It's only a matter of time, in my opinion, before both of these organizations become household names across the globe.

Below, you'll find a number of links.  The first links are to highlight videos of various MMA competitors from around the world.  These highlight videos are linked through Sherdog.com - the finest English MMA database in the world.  They're all courtesy of Sherdog and it's talented fans from around the world.  Enjoy!

You will also find a link to ironlife.com's very fine highlight video forum.  These are also extremely well-made highlight videos, but they require a membership (free) with ironlife.com before you can download them.
